Volunteer at Oldtone '18!
Oldtone Roots Music Festival is looking for individuals that are interested in helping us create a lasting annual beacon of preservation and tradition in American old-time arts and culture!
Volunteers earn a free camping pass and an Oldtone Volunteer t-shirt in return for 9 hours (three 3-hr shifts) during the festival. Pre-fest Volunteers are required to do a minimum of 16 hours—talk to Beth Carlson for details. Post-fest Sunday AND Monday (minimum of 12 hours) volunteers will get comp tickets for 2018. Volunteer positions needed will include festival setup, tear-down, cleanup, carpentry, parking, gate keepers, artist hospitality, admissions, stage sound assistance, craft services, and more. Assignments will be matched with volunteer talents and interests. If you possess unique talents that would be useful, please bring that to our attention!
Volunteers must provide a functional cell phone number, email, and a credit or debit card for the volunteer registration fee of $8. The fee will cover your volunteer t-shirt. Please note, volunteers that do not show up for their shifts will be charged the full GATE ticket price. We depend on our volunteers, and need to have all jobs covered at all times. Please do not sign up if you are just reserving a free ticket and are not certain you are planning on attending. No volunteer spot will be held for you without your completed and confirmed registration over the phone. The festival could not exist without you, and we are counting on you. Thank you!!
Spots on Volunteer Teams are now being assigned. Do not buy tickets if you want to volunteer, we can’t refund tickets once purchased. Please wait for us to contact you. Make sure you sign up with an email that you check, so you don’t miss confirmation.
We offer two levels of Volunteer admission for Full Four-Day Festival Camping or a One-Day Pass, but full volunteers get priority shifts.
